Accountability Officer (Repost)

Ensure feedback is received regularly from the field offices through various channels (What’s app, Emails, Hotline, Feedback Forms) and is entered promptly into the database

Ensure hard copies of the Feedback forms are archived to allow for data verification at a later point

Ensure information submitted by beneficiaries by phone or email is entered promptly into the database

Facilitate an accountability self-assessment (based on CHS criteria) and facilitate planning exercise to put together a plan of action for improvement, agreed by SMT, along with a timeframe and responsibilities.

Maintain overview of/coordinate the implementation of the accountability work plan by accountability focal points and other International Medical Corps and partner staff.

Monitor, evaluate and support implementation of accountability initiatives & practices across the country mission.

Ensure accountability features in, and is resourced in, all new proposals.

Ensure management of coordination of IMC and representation to communities at the field level

Coordinate joint accountability activities with other organization to the extent possible

Work with counterparts at field offices to ensure the questionnaires are delivered to the Beirut office with high degrees of regularity

Travel to field offices to ensure the data collection process follows consistent methodology

Build capacity of respective field staff – Conduct training sessions for staff on the Feedback & Complaint mechanism

Provide the supervisor with up-dates on progress of data entry

Ensure coherence, investigate missing data and report issues of concern to supervisor
 Data Analysis

Review, process and analyze entered data and identify significant issues of concern.

Refer complaints and feedback to assigned focal points (by sector) and ensure proper follow up.

Provide overviews over trends in number and nature of complaints submitted
Community Engagement and Outreach

Gather beneficiary feedback ( including focus group discussions, individual interviews, etc.) regarding the way in which complaints and feedback is collected, as well as the best means of follow-up

Quality control of the CBCM to ensure it is functioning properly and meeting the expectations of our clients.
Other duties

Adhere to organizational standards and policies and IMC’s Code of Conduct

Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
