Community Based Projects Trainer (repost)

The Community Based Projects are a youth inspired actions that aim to reduce gender based violence within their communities. Following the 10 week structured curriculum where the youth participants are sensitized on GBV and life skills topics they indentify protection needs/concerns and try to address them to the best of their knowledge. The projects also help the youth acquire the sense of social responsibility in terms of responding to gender based violence.

In order to implement those projects, the GBV Program is recruiting trainers with expertise in:
A. Social Media:
• Thorough knowledge of current social media outlets
• A deep understanding of how to use social media
• Conduct training on the technical aspects of Social Media.
• Share Social Media Knowledge and developments with the trainees
• Support, advise and motivate learners
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs

B. Makeup:
• Give learners with the fundamentals of makeup
• Provide learners with all the tips and tools they need to know to become makeup artist
• Train learners on several makeup techniques to become professional makeup artists

C. Hair Dressing
• The trainer must be able to provide and train on salon services, including:
•  Hair cutting,
• shampooing,
• blow drying,
• coloring
• styling

D. Literacy
• The trainer must assure that by the end of the training, the trainees are able to:
• Read the Language such as the alphabet, numbers, words, small texts
• Write basic sentences
• Use correctly basic expressions
• Understand basic and simple vocabulary

4. Deliverables:
• Monthly Timesheet
• Invoice

4 Trainers are needed for 4 different types of training.
