Community Health Educator - Akkar ( 2 Candidates)

Responsibilities of the community health educator: To provide health education sessions at the hospital, clinics or shelters on different topics, mother and child health care and young infant nutrition’s. To provide special health education sessions at the hospital, clinics or shelters during epidemics, instances of food poisoning and similar emergencies. Conduct outreach visits to follow up on the medical and health needs of displaced population especially in maternity and newborn care. Organize and conduct Syrian Community Health Educator (CHE) teams to the areas where displaced reside upon need. Work together with the Syrian Community Health Educator (CHE) and meet on monthly basis to follow up and evaluate the work achieved. Prepare individual and group educational sessions using the evaluation tools provided Pre/post tests, evaluation form. Correct the pre and post tests done at the beginning and end of each educational session. Get engaged in distribution of health information materials, such as brochures, posters, kits… Report on the weekly and monthly achievement on a monthly basis. Attend regular meetings health education officer and with medical director and health officer if needed. Fulfilling any other relevant duties requested by the medical director, health officer and health education officer.
