Scope of work:
IMC’s Community health program conducts a series of Health and Nutrition trainings for a group of community health workers who are Syrian volunteers expected to raise awareness among both refugee and host communities. Training topics include, non-communicable diseases, infectious diseases, nutrition during the life cycle, immunization, personal hygiene, family planning, maternal and child health. Other trainings consist of addictions, depression, parenting skills, home accidents and communication skills.
Trainings will take place throughout a 12-month project, following an interval to be determined within a pre-set training schedule, resulting in a total of 12 trainings per project cycle. Trainers will be selected based on their profiles and relevant experience related to training topics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Medical Doctor
Good communication, facilitation and training skills
Previous Experience in delivering relevant trainings is a plus
PROPOSED COMPENSATION: (within established IMC salary ranges):
A fee paid: 300 USD/training day that covers training and transportation cost
