Background: The Contract Officer will work under the Admin/Finance Department, liaising with various departments and parties.
Job Purpose: The contract Officer leads in the preparation of contracts and contract amendments for PHCCs and community centers supported by IMC, as well as any other external partnerships or procurement of services. Officer also leads in the preparation of employment contracts and any other HRrelated agreements.
Main Responsibilities:
• Prepare all contracts and amendments for all IMC contracts with second parties including but not limited to Primary Health Care Centers, community Centers, vendors, staff and consultants based on the internal rules and regulations.
• Coordinate actions with internal and external procurement and legal teams if needed.
• Regularly track and report status of all contract processes to the direct supervisor and program departments, as applicable.
• Internal follow up with HR and Compliance in regard to the status of submitted contracts and communicate updates to program teams
• Submit contracts to Headquarters for approvals and follow up as needed.
• Serve as a liaison between internal and external parties during contract development and negotiation stages.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and ensure they are accurately executed and satisfied and as per IMC contract guidelines and protocols.
• In the case of health facilities, ensure that these terms are properly negotiated by the Health Field Teams and be available to support as needed.
• Resolve any existing contract conflicts, in collaboration with legal counsel as needed, through
follow up with Area Managers or Central Management Follow up.
• Scan, file and archive all original documents as needed.
Essential Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in legal studies or business administration – Or related fields.
Desirable Qualifications: Legal/Translation/Administrative background
Essential Experience: 2-3 years of experience

- Excellent reading and language comprehension (English and Arabic).

- Exceptional communication skills (oral and written, English and Arabic)
- Excellent skills in Office Tools
