International Medical Corps (IMC) MoPH under ENI project Primary Health care Department (PHC) Data-operator for central team One Vacancy PART A – IDENTIFICATION OF POSITION Position Title Data operator for the Primary Health care Department (PHC)– MPH007   Position Location Working at MoPH - Primary Health care Department (PHC) - Central Unit – Beirut PART B – POSITION REQUIREMENTS 1. ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT The applicant will work within the central team of Primary Health Care at the MOPH in Beirut   2. FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT Accountability (key results that will be achieved) -          Keeps the PHC databases updated, cleaned on timely manner. -          Respects confidentiality of the datasets at PHC. -          Respects the working rules and the MOPH.   Responsibility (process and functions undertaken to achieve results) -          Receives forms -          Checks the received forms and the invalid or missing data -          Follows up with health care facilities and schools in case of missing data or missing reports -          Does the data entry -          Conducts necessary data cleaning through the semi-automated procedures -          Assists in sending the feedback to health care facilities and other partners -          Coordinates data collection from health facilities to reference …. -          Performs other duties as required   3 REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, which illustrate behaviours that are essential to achieving deliverables described above, and that are critical to successful performance. -          Managing performance -          Managing resources -          Analytical thinking -          Technological awareness -          Planning -          Change Capability and Adaptability   4. ESSENTIAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.  Define the educational background, the relevant job experience and the language(s) that are essential to perform the work of the position. -          Holding Lebanese Nationality -          Having the Baccalaureate -          Attending at least one year of university in public health or health sciences -          Manipulating easily Personal Computer and Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)   5. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES.  Describe any experience or knowledge that would be an asset, such as:  other training, additional languages, etc -          Having experience in working in public health domain or related field -          Comfortable in English -          Comfortable with the medical language
