PART A – IDENTIFICATION OF POSITION Position Title Data Operator for the Epidemiological Surveillance Program in Sour Caza Code – MPH044 Position Location Working at the Epidemiological Surveillance Team – Sour MOPH office  – Sour Supervisor Position Working under the supervision of Surveillance Officer in Sour with close coordination with the Head of Epidemiology Surveillance Program (Esumoh) /Ministry of Public Health (Central Team). PART B – POSITION REQUIREMENTS 1. ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT The applicant will work within the team of the Epidemiological Surveillance Program at the Sour MOPH office in Sour.  The selected applicant will be recruited by IMC, and deployed to MOPH (i.e. work and report at MoPH). 2. FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT Accountability (key results that will be achieved) -          Keeps the Sour Esumoh databases updated, cleaned on timely manner, and ready for epidemiological analysis -          Respects confidentiality of the datasets at Esumoh -          Respects the working rules and the MOPH. Responsibility (process and functions undertaken to achieve results) -          Receives forms -          Checks the received forms and the invalid or missing data -          Follows up with health care facilities and schools in case of missing data or missing reports -          Does the data entry -          Conducts necessary data cleaning through the semi-automated procedures -          Forwards the local databases to the Epidemiological Surveillance Program central team and Mohafaza team -          Assists in sending the feedback to health care facilities and other partners -          Coordinates specimens collection from patients, health facilities to reference laboratories -          Trains data providers on electronical reporting -          Performs other duties as required 3 REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, which illustrate behaviours that are essential to achieving deliverables described above, and that are critical to successful performance. -          Managing performance and resources -          Analytical thinking -          Technological awareness -          Planning -          Change Capability and Adaptability 4. ESSENTIAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.  Define the educational background, the relevant job experience and the language(s) that are essential to perform the work of the position. -          Lebanese Nationality -          Baccalaureate -          Attending at least one year of university in public health or health sciences -          Manipulating easily Personal Computer and Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook) 5.
