Period of Performance: 8 Months from April 15, 2022, until January 14, 2023
Level of Effort: The consultant will conduct training sessions on financial literacy especially in times of crisis.
Background: The financial literacy consultant will be responsible of organizing and conducting trainings and workshops on financial literacy.
Purpose: The purpose of this scope of work is to support the procurement of the services of the Trainer to plan for, travel to and/or implement the financial literacy Trainings. This training will help participants in their daily activities by using the appropriate financial tools to survive the current economic difficulties, such as key financial management concepts, terms, and tools, enabling them to manage their money, organize their expenses and revenues.
Task Description: Consultant will serve as the financial literacy instructor in all areas across Lebanon. Specifically, Consultant will complete the following tasks:
- Introducing the main pillars of the financial literacy for participants to increase their economic resilience.
- Raising awareness on the importance of personal and households’ budget management.
- Notions on how to establish a personal budget plan which copes with the personal needs and incomes
- How to make evidence-based financial decisions
Deliverables/Due Dates/Payment Schedule:
- Delivers Financial Literacy Training Sessions based on the needs and request of GBV Program in all Areas
- Submission of Invoice and Task sheet at the end of each worked month
Deliverable: Financial literacy Training Session
Fixed Price Fee: 100 USD/ Training Session
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous Experience in delivering financial literacy trainings
- Degree in Business, Finance or Economics
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Good communication skills
Location of Work: Consultant resides in Beirut Area and will conduct her/his work in Beirut,Mount Lebanon,South,Bekaa and Akkar Area.
