Job Purpose:
This position will support International Medical Corps' emergency response to Beirut Blast.
To plan, support and manage the overall project
Main Responsibilities:
• Support the identification of beneficiaries and suitable sites for implementation of project activities, collecting relevant data from the field and involvement in assessments.
• Oversee implementation of case management, linking, referral, filing and reporting
• Providing technical advice on GBV case management and psychosocial support to vulnerable person, particularly survivors of gender-based violence. In addition to monitoring referrals and feedback mechanisms.
• Regularly initiate case file audit and make sure that all necessary forms and report are kept filed and updated.
• Ensure coordination with other IMC departments.
• Ensure programming is on track in absence of direct supervisor; reporting daily on important issues that require supervisor feedback and decision making.
• Regular coordination and collaboration with international or local partners and staff to ensure involvement is service delivery, planning and reporting.
• Contribute and regularly update service mapping of service providers within your area to ensure that caseworkers are informed of all relevant and available services.
• Support the GBV officer in the implementation of other activities such as focused and non-focused PSS, distribution of kits or any other GBV activity implemented.
Essential Experience:
- Minimum 2 – 3 years in the field of social work.
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience working with GBV survivors

- Very good listening and facilitation skills – capable of managing and facilitating group discussions with program participants, local officials, partners and all levels of staff

- Good interpersonal and influencing skills
