Job Summary In the Middle East, including Lebanon, International Medical Corps has developed an Innovative appraoch of providing integrated case management for survivors of gender-based violence through its broader mental health and psychosocial support case managment program.  This integrated case managment appraoch is provided by the MHPSS case workers who work with affected populations, including survivors, that have multiple and complex needs and require a comprehensive case management appraoch which identifies, supports, and protects those who are vulnerable and promotes stablitly and recovery. GBV integrated case management ensures that survivors can access different levels of care, including more specialized mental health support if needed and requested that is still survivor centered.   Tasks & Responsibilities Promote and introduce the International Medical Corps (IMC) integrated approach to mental health & psychosocial support  and GBV services to institutions, centers, PHCs and individuals; Support the identification of beneficiaries and suitable sites for implementation of project activities, collecting relevant data from the field and involvement in assessments. Providing technical advice on GBV  case management and psychosocial support to vulnerable person, particularly survivors of gender-based violence. Oversee implementation of case management, psychosocial and men’s center activities. Make sure that all necessary forms and questionnaires such as the social assessment forms, care-plans, GBVIMS among others are filled and kept updated. Ensure coordination with other IMC departments. Provide input on program development and recommendations, as required. Ensure programming is on track in absence of direct supervisor; reporting daily on important issues that require supervisor feedback and decision making. Regular coordination and collaboration with international or local partners and staff to ensure involvement is service delivery, planning and reporting. Facilitate trainings on staff skills, while regularly monitoring and evaluating capacity building for the team. Contribute and regularly update service mapping of service providers within your area to ensure that caseworkers are informed of all relevant and available services. Identify opportunities for awareness rising, whether it at a community center or other safe space, plan the sessions; including sessions with children or children and caregivers. To identify protection concerns of vulnerable persons within the community you are working in, develop a response plan to address them; i.e. any trends should be reported to the area manager and advocate for gaps in GBV response. Receive referrals, take action and provide feedback of actions taken in a timely manner to manager and other agencies when necessary. Preparing and submit reports in timely manner. Attend IMC trainings when such trainings are planned and implemented.  Prepare, take-part and document Case Management technical meetings. Reporting: Keeps track of patient numbers/cases through IMC outpatient records, to be submitted at the end of every month. Data collection, collation and analysis. Submit minutes of meetings. Program documentation, data collection, analysis, final outcomes report for donor reports. Documentation of all activities and outcomes. Submit regular reports to Mental Health Area Manager. Office documentation and other duties as required by Mental Health Coordinator. Psychosocial Officer will report directly to the Mental Health Area Manager.
