This position is designed to ensure support for health program activities in the form of report writing an documenting the various program successes for an internal and external audience, etc. The HRO will report directly in to the Medical Coordinator. In her absence the HRO will report directly in to the Country Director to ensure tasks are completed and any pending issues highlighted.
Essential Job duties:
1. Review all patients’ admissions files and ensure data collected previously were accurate as per the hospital tracking sheet.
2. Coaching with the health team on the data entry and ensure data are well collected, received.
3. Data collection, collation and analysis, final outcomes report for donor reports.
4. Compiling and ensuring accurate stats from the programs are on hand.
5. Work closely with the medical coordinator and medical consultants to set up admission criteria and review criteria based on donors recommendations.
6. Attend central /Field health coordination meetings with all NGOS and stakeholders engaged in the health program and write the minutes of the meeting.
7. Review patients files and ensure accuracy of data
8. Provide technical assistance to the IT consultant in the set up database for hospital admissions and make sure the reports collected contain all SMART indicators.
9. Conduct regular visits for IMC field sites
Responsible for drafting the monthly, quarterly, annual and/or semiannual reports, in conjunction with program team, according to donor requirements and ensure timely submission to HQ for submission.
Work with the field teams on sending regular sitreps as requested by donors and IMC.
12. Prepare monthly and/or bimonthly reports for HQ, together with program departments, according to HQ requirements.
13. Prepare quarterly Board reports as requested.
14. Ensure PR/Media are kept updated with new news stories for the website and newsletter.
15. Document IMC program successes
16. Develops, implements, and monitors the performance monitoring plans and systems for gathering, reporting, and analyzing performance data for impact and sustainability of project implementation.
17. Measures progress toward achieving project goals.
18. Supports the documentation of best practices and facilitate the use of such data to drive program design and decision making. Produces information to share lessons learned and for advocacy purposes.
