Job Description
International Medical Corps is seeking to recruit a Hospital Administrator to carry out Internal Audits on medical bills as required.
The start date is immediate up until December 31st 2012 with the possibility of renewal.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and address all potential errors; including coding, code upgrading, fee schedule non-compliance, excessive billing, and fraud.
- Verify CPT codes to each audit and price lists attached for acts not covered by the MOPH flat rates
- Compare physician orders and other medical record documentation to itemized billed charges. Hospital bill audits occur on-site at the facility or via a desk-audit program if the facility agrees.
- Conduct on-site audit at the relevant facility, and mutual agreement on services and make sure reduced charges are confirmed by a signed agreement with the hospital.
- Ensure complete review of any hospital bill.
- Ensure prices agreed in the contract are the same as prices charged on the final bill.
- Provide a complete and reliable verification of bill accuracy by comparing the hospital's medical documentation against the itemized bill.
- Ensure both IMC and the patient pay only for services rendered by combining extensive hospital experience with a thorough clinical review of the medical record.
Qualifications:
BS in relevant Finance , accounting or business administration.
Should have 5 years experience in hospitals financial audit work.
Clear understanding of the role of humanitarian work.
