Background of the Assignment: The intern needs to provide support to the Human Resources department with different administrative and documentation tasks. The HR Intern will assist in scanning, archiving, and handling other HR paperwork-related tasks.

Scope of the assignment:
The HR intern will be responsible for the following tasks:
Data Management:
- Assist in organizing, maintaining and updating employee records
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data in HR databases and files
- Assist with data entry tasks related to employee information
- Scan and organize physical employee records and documents
- Assist in archiving HR documents and records in compliance with organization's policies and legal requirements
- Assist in drafting, filling and organizing HR related documents (e.g., employees contracts, onboarding forms, etc...)
- Handle all HR data and documents with strict confidentiality and in accordance with the organization's policies
The internship is unpaid
To perform this consultancy successfully, an individual must be able to perform each task with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Previous experience or coursework related to HR or office administration is a plus, but not required
- Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.

- TITLE RIGHTS
International Medical Corps shall be entitled to all property rights including but not limited to patents, copyrights and trademarks with regard to material, which bears a direct relation to, or is made in consequence of, the services provided to the organization by the consultant.
- INSURANCE
Interns are fully responsible for arranging, at their own expense, such life, health and other forms of insurance covering their period of service on behalf of International Medical Corps as they consider appropriate. Interns are not eligible to participate in life or health insurance schemes available to International Medical Corps employees
- TAXATION
International Medical Corps undertake no liability for taxes, duty or other contributions payable by the consultant on payments under this contract.
- TERMINATION OF CONTRACT
Either party may terminate this contract before the expiry date of the contract by giving notice in writing to the other party.
The period of notice shall be 5 days in case of contract less than 2 months duration and 30 days in the case of contracts for longer periods; provided however that the in the event of termination on the grounds of misconduct or the in the event of termination on the grounds of misconduct or poor performance by the consultant, International Medical Corps shall be entitled to terminate the contract without notice.
In the event of the contract being terminated prior to its due expiry date, the consultant shall be compensated pro rata for no more than the actual amount of work performed to the satisfaction of International Medical Corps.
