Leadership Training Consultant

Period of Performance: 3 Months from March 8th 2021 until June 8th 2021
Level of Effort:
The Consultant will work for 30 working days, facilitating 5 trainings each of 6 sessions/days
Background: The consultant will be delivering Leadership trainings as part of the International Women’s Day Campaign
Purpose: The purpose of this scope of work is to support the procurement of the services of the Leadership Training Consultant to plan for, travel to and/or implement the Leadership training to IMC beneficiaries across different locations in Lebanon.
Task Description: Consultant will serve as the Leadership Program Trainer in Lebanon country program. Specifically, Consultant will complete the following tasks:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
 Design, prepare and plan for the delivery of 5 Leadership Trainings in person or online;
 Adapt training material and set up for two levels of participants: those with basic literacy level and those with advanced literacy level;
 Make necessary preparation to deliver the training in Arabic for a mixed group of beneficiaries from the Lebanese, Syrian and Palestinian nationalities;
 Deliver 3 Leadership trainings for participants with basic literacy levels;
 Deliver 2 Leadership trainings for participants with advanced literacy levels;
 Ensure that each of the 5 trainings can be delivered over the duration of 6 sessions of 2 hours each, or otherwise specified by the GBV program;
 Ensure the training learning objectives include the following: leadership at home/ at the community and in the work place; coping mechanisms in difficult situations, emotional intelligence (self-awareness/ self-regulation/motivation/ empathy/social skills), decision making, self-management and relationship management, communication skills, risk assessment, career plan, emotional intelligence in the work place, among other;
 Prepare and deliver pre and post tests for each training;
 Prepare training report for each training;
 Support IMC program team in collecting attendance sheets and other admin tasks for each training;
Qualifications:
 Relevant experience in delivering leadership programs or similar trainings;
 Degree in psychology, coaching, human resources, management or any related field;
 Excellent communication skills;
 Previous experience in delivering trainings;
 Previous experience working with communities from different backgrounds and different literacy levels;
 Previous experience delivering training sessions in a humanitarian setting;
Deliverables/Due Dates/Payment Schedule:

1. Deliver 3 Online or in-person Leadership trainings for participants with basic literacy levels each consisting of 6 training days, June 8th 2021, 200 USD/Training Day.

2. Deliver 2 Online or in-person Leadership trainings for participants with advanced literacy levels each consisting of 6 training day, June 8th 2021, 200 USD/Training Day.

Total: 6000 USD

Fixed Price Fee:
A Fixed Fee of 200 USD per training day will be paid based on completion and International Medical Corps acceptance of deliverables. The deliverables include training reports after each training as well as other documentation of each training (attendance sheets, pre-post tests).
Location of Work: Consultant resides in Lebanon and will conduct her/his work in Beirut, Mount Lebanon, Bekaa, South and North Areas . The Leadership Consultant will be responsible for the travel arrangements to and from the trainings locations and will ensure good internet connection for online sessions.
