Mental Health Coordinator

Effectively manage daily program, including planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluating, and reporting (Pipeline Review, Implementation Plan). Conduct routine project needs assessments and program reviews to ensure successful implementation and donor compliance Manage MH Dept. and subsequent team ensuring there is adequate cover during periods of absence, training needs are met and performance evaluated. Work directly with the MH Consultant as required by the program. Identify potential new donors and projects in the sphere of MH & Psychosocial programming and follow up in conjunction with the CD on same. Represent IMC at relevant coordination meetings - UNHCR, MOSA, MOH, UNFPA, UNICEF et al. Liaise closely with any new or previous sub grantees. Partof IMC Lebanon country management team for strategic planning, etc. Part of the Management Team for Lebanon Meet regularly with the CD and MH Consultant Other Responsibilities: Qualification/ Skills: The qualified candidate will be a mental health professional with MD with extensive experience in psychosocial programming, Psychologist or Social worker with extensive psychosocial programming experience In depth knowledge of Psychosocial programming in the humanitarian context a must; Familiarity with IASC Guidelines on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support In Emergency Settings Training experience required Strong organizational, management and supervisory skills with excellent reporting & writing skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within different cultural environments Honest, hard working and a self-motivated person Ability to work within a team structure or in isolation, flexible, and can cope with stressful workloads and working with limited resources An excellent command of verbal and written English and Arabic
