- Coordinate with the Program Assistant and Mental Health Program Officer to address the needs of case management teams on the fields and follow up on all related issues;
- Provide support and problem solving to Mental Health Program Officer and Program Assistant;
- Conduct field visits with MHPSS Managers to identify gaps on field level and provide recommendations as needed;
- Coordinate with Mental Health Program Officer and Program Assistant to have a unified procedure and templates among case management team in all areas;
- Provide cost analysis and inputs during proposal writing phase;
- Participate in new grants kickoff meetings;
- Prepare monthly budget projections that will be reviewed by the Deputy Mental Health Coordinator and approved by the Mental Health Program coordinator;
- Keep track of all budget spending and prepare forecast of budgets for the entire duration of the programs;
- Ensure that all activities are implemented in line with the program’s budget and indicators;
- Prepare and update Procurement plans of all active grants with review of Budget holder
- Adhere to concept notes of each grant and donor guidelines including visibility guidelines when planning for any activity or procuring any item
- Coordinate with Mental Health Program coordinator on budgeting of activities and/or procurement requests
- Follow-up with Mental Health Program Officer and Program Assistant on responding to field requests and delivery timing of program material
- Keep updated inventory of MH material;
- Coordinate with logistics on provision of logistical support to the NMHP including designing/printing of tools, booking of venue etc…
- Support the development of tools – such as checklists, SOPs, Job Descriptions – to aid in the execution of contracts/sub-agreements, financial tracking and payments
- Attend working group meetings, staff interviews and/or any other program activity when requested by program management
- Other tasks as required by the Mental Health Deputy Coordinator;
Reporting:
- Reports directly on all tasks and responsibilities to the Mental Health Deputy Coordinator
- Providing timely updates as required;
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Business Administration or any other related discipline;
- Experience working in and an understanding of the nonprofit sector and/or an association setting preferred;
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills;
- Good understanding of the project cycle and team work;
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure high quality work;
- Emotional maturity and agility in working in a fast-paced environment;
- Computer literacy with demonstrated experience in utilization of databases, Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint in particular.
Experience required:
A minimum of two year administrative/management or NGO experience is required.
