Mmu Physician

Summary and Background: The MMU Physician is responsible to provide medical consultations for patients during Mobile Medical Unit ( MMU)visits in the south area.   Place in the Organization The incumbent of this post is responsible to the South health Manager.   Functions and responsibilities Act as a part of the MMU team and show full cooperation with IMC – MMU Assistant, IMC-Community health educator and all the team members. Provide medical consultations to the member of refugees and vulnerable population whenever and wherever requested by IMC. Prescribe and provide the needed acute medication available in the MMU setup after full assessment and examination of the case and respecting the Moph treatment guidelines and respecting the concept of proper use of medication. Make the necessary referral to the cases that may need additional services not available in the MMU. Provide the patients with the needed education on medication proper use before handling. Guide the CHW (community health Worker) on the awareness sessions needed for patients per case. Advice on the medication’s items available in the MMU and provide the needed feedback on the need or no need for further or recent items in coordination with IMC – Pharmacist. Fill the MMU medical records including the patient’s diagnosis and ICD10 coding. Show respect to all patients from all nationalities and treat with equality.
