National Mental Health Program - Public Health Officer

IMC is recruiting a full-time Public Health Officer to help the National Mental Health Program at the Ministry of Public Health in the implementation of its activities. Under the supervision of the Director of the Mental Health Program, the assistant will be part of a team of two full-time staff, and will take ownership for a range of programmatic, administrative and logistical tasks. This includes: Programme Support: Assist the Mental Health Program in preparing and maintaining project-related documentation and material. Develop educational and promotional material. Assist in research activities conducted by the program (literature review, data entry, proposals, etc.). Maintains health data management and filing for projects/program. Assist in the preparation of the newsletter, press releases, and progress reports. Prepare the programme meetings, write up the minutes. Ensure the follow up of the implementation of the recommendation of the programme meetings Coordinate with different programme partners on projects and maintain updated contact list. Administrative Support: Ensure that logistical issues are sorted out for the workshops, meetings, roundtables (booking the venue, budget preparation, equipment and stationery to be used) Performs administrative tasks (photocopies, buying stationeries, scanning/faxing documents, minutes of meetings). Prepares drafts of correspondence, send and receive faxes and emails. Maintain office equipment/supplies.
