Phcc Mhgap Supervisor (Clinical Psychologist) (Repost)

Provide support and supervision to the staff at primary health care centers (PHCC) especially the trained nurse and social workers on mhGAP Conduct weekly visits to mhGAP trained PHCC in order to provide support and supervise the work of integrating mental health into primary health care services Meet with the PHC director and staff trained on mhGAP in order to assess the integration of mental health (MH) in PHCC in line with mhGAP and identify gaps and challenges Develop a plan to address the identified gaps and challenges and provide needed support and guidance. Develop, monitor and implement clinic based/outreach treatment plans together with trained PHCC workers and provide them with needed guidance regarding therapeutic services and referrals of Adult and Child/Adolescent patients. Conduct group discussions and/or bilateral meetings with the PHCC staff trained on mhGAP at the PHC level in order to assess the communication and dynamics of interaction among the staff in addition to provide general guidance towards improving the MH services at the PHC level. Complete patient evaluations, set treatment recommendations and provide medical case reviews, with needed documentation as needed. Participate in the development, implementation and monitoring of the data collection system at PHCC level. Provide training on Psychological First Aid (PFA) and other type of trainings as needed. Support and participate to the Mental Health Programme activities as required. Perform any related duties that may be assigned by Head of the Programme.
