- Provide individual therapy to Mental Health Iraqi Refugee Men population and vulnerable host population referred from within or from outside the center.
- Complete intake assessments, evaluations, treatment recommendations, reviews, and other documentation as necessary.
- Interface with families, treatment team members and case management as requested by IMC & ABAAD.
- Keep track of patient numbers/cases through outpatient records, to be submitted at the end of every month.
- Make necessary and timely referrals when necessary.
- Attend mandatory staff weekly meetings facilitated by the Men Center Coordintor.
- Report directly to IMC mental health coordinator, and IMC GBV technical advisor/Head of ABAAD.
- Provide psychological support to wound displaced Syrians and their families at the hospital level.
- Work directly with the social worker to develop intervention plans and follow up at the home level.
Deliverables:
- To submit the Outpatient Records and Timesheet at the end of every month.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology
- Previous experience in conducting therapy sessions for individuals
- Fluent in spoken Arabic
- Previous NGO experience is a plus
- Previous experience in working with Men population is a plus
- Personal interest in educational and mental health issues
- Willing to adhere to therapy schedule
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work within a team
