Psychotherapist - North

-          Provide psychotherapy to displaced Syrians, other refugees when needed and members of the host community in the different locations/clinics were IMC is intervening throughout the Norh area – Akkar and Wadi Khaled the cities and their surroundings. -          Provide psychological support to wounded displaced Syrians and their families at the hospital level. -          Provide psychosocial support – groups and individuals – to trauma survivors and conflict affected persons. -          Work directly with the social worker to develop intervention plans and follow up at the home level. -          Provide regular feedback to the Case Management (CM) team especially the social worker regarding the follow up of the cases and progress of therapy. -          Provide direct support and guidance to the social worker on common cases. -          Complete intake assessments, evaluations, treatment recommendations, reviews, and other documentation as necessary. -          Keep track of patient numbers/cases through IMC outpatient records, to be submitted at the end of every month. -          Make necessary and timely referrals when necessary. -          Attend weekly or biweekly meetings including the technical meeting with the rest of the CM team in the North. -          Attend the supervision meeting that is conducted once a month. -          Report directly to IMC psychosocial officer.   Deliverables: -          Submit outpatient records at the end of each month. -          Submit timesheets of executed works that include number of sessions, beneficiaries/patients. This timesheet has to be signed and approved by the Psychotherapist and an IMC person (center manager, social worker….).   Qualifications: -        Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology. -        Finalized or in the process of finalizing training on psychotherapy – integrative approach. -        Fluent in spoken Arabic and good knowledge of English language. -        Previous NGO experience is a plus. -        Personal interest in educational and mental health issues. -        Good communication and teamwork skills.
