Self-Care Psychotherapist

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Overall conditions: The self-care consultant will be working one day per week in each of the two areas - Beirut and the Beqaa (equal to four working days per month). Leading on self-care sessions, the identification of a venue (clinic), communication and transportation expenses will be the full responsibility of the consultant. The consultant will be receiving a fixed installment paid at the beginning of each month covering services conducted during the previous month upon the submission of required documentation. Specific tasks: Provide individual psychotherapy sessions to caregivers, PHC providers and outreach workers based on their demand. Provide psychosocial support – on individual levels – to staff working with conflict affected persons. Work directly with the International Medical Corps MHPSS Coordinator to develop intervention plans and follow up at the home level. Provide regular feedback to the IMC MH consultant and MH coordinator regarding the follow up of the sessions, interaction of participants and progress of therapy sessions. Complete intake assessments, evaluations, treatment recommendations, reviews, and other documentation as necessary. Keep track of sessions – individual - through a special attendance sheets and reporting format developed for this purpose. Make necessary and timely referrals when necessary. Attend bimonthly coordination meetings IMC MH consultant and MH coordinator. Deliverables: Submit outpatient records at the end of each month. Submit attendance sheets of executed works. Submit reports documenting the progress of work.
