Under the overall supervision of the Chief Medical officer in Lebanon, and under the direct supervision and technical guidance of Immunization Supervisor and Chief Migration health Nurse, the incumbent will be responsible of nursing, mainly responsible of immunization support of immigrant and refugee health assessment programmes along with counselling of beneficiaries prior/after immunization and designated as contact person in case of any side effects of immunzation .
The successful candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities:
Nursing and Immunization nurse and counselling duties
During health assessment:
a. Collect medical history and measure vital signs
b. Assist physician during physical examination, if required.
c. Perform blood and urine collection, if required. Perform rapid pregnancy test, if required
2. Provide treatments as requested by physician.
3. Arranger referrals for additional tests and treatment.
4. Immunization :
Assesses and evaluates the immunization status and needs of the clients.
Educates clients about the importance of immunization.
Provide immunization according to immunization guidelines, completes records, enter into Mimosa, eMedical and other relevant databases; keep paper copies of the document in order
Assist Immunization supervisor and Chief Migration health Nurse maintaining optimal workflow and updated SOPs.
Maintain inventory; submit request for Ministry of Health of vaccines and consumables.
Participate in data collection and preparation of statistic reports.
Advise the Supervisor of any incidents or adverse reactions.
5. Ensure maintenance of infection control measures.
6. Ensure fraud-prevention measures.
7. Any other related duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
