Emergency Field Assistant - South

Under the overall supervision of IOM Representative in Lebanon and the direct supervision of the Emergency Response & Recovery Officer in Beirut and the Emergency Field Team Leader (TL) and in coordination with relevant Sector Programme Coordinators and the Emergency Programme Support Assistant, the incumbent will perform the following functions:     1)      Assist in the implementation of cross-sectoral activities as relevant for the field office.   2)      In close coordination with the Beirut Office and the TL in the field, support the distribution of all NFIs, winterization and (restricted and unrestricted) cash assistance.   3)      Assists in packaging all NFIs ensuring visibility materials are clear.   4)      Assist in liaising with suppliers to ensure timely transportation of NFIs to warehouse/storage in close coordination with IOM Beirut Branch Office.   5)      Assist with the organization of and take part to regular Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM) visits.   6)      Attend relevant inter-agency WGs and other meetings in the area of pertinence as requested by the Emergency Response and Recovery Officer and Sector Coordinators.   7)      Support the monitoring of warehouses stock and advice the Emergency Unit in Beirut on stock availability and needs.   8)      Support the preparation of inventory reports.   9)      Assist with humanitarian partners and local authorities to identify community needs and gaps.   10)  Support the preparation of reports and statistics regarding Lebanese Returnees, Syrian refugees and other populations of concern.       11)  Perform any other duties you may be assigned.
