Under the overall supervision of IOM Representative in Lebanon and the direct supervision of the Emergency Response & Recovery Officer and in coordination with relevant Sector Programme Coordinators and the Emergency Programme Support Assistant, the incumbent will perform the following functions:
1) Support the coordination and implementation of cross-sectoral activities as relevant for the field office.
2) In close coordination with the Shelter Coordinator and sectoral support staff in Beirut, oversee the distribution of all NFIs, winterization and (restricted and unrestricted) cash assistance.
3) Conduct regular Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM) visits
4) Represent the Organization in relevant inter-agency WGs and other meetings in the area of pertinence as requested by the Emergency Response and Recovery Officer and Sector Coordinators.
5) Monitor warehouses and storage and advice the Emergency Unit in Beirut on stock availability and needs.
6) Prepare inventory reports and advise accordingly.
7) Liaise with humanitarian partners and local authorities to identify community needs and gaps.
8) Prepare reports and statistics regarding Lebanese Returnees, Syrian refugees and other populations of concern.
9) Regularly liaise with IOM Beirut Branch Office and provide daily update of the situation on the ground.
10) Supervise the field staff and prepare work plans, including the weekly plan to be shared with IOM Beirut Branch Office.
11) Liaise with the Emergency Response and Recovery Officer and other sector colleagues to organize all field trips, including monitoring visits in the field and donor ones
12) Develop projects related to the field needs in coordination with the Emergency Unit in Beirut.
13) Perform any other duties you may be assigned.
