Under direct supervision of the technical Officer TB/HIV and the overall guidance of the Head of IOM Office in Lebanon and with a view to act as a liaison between the different field teams and the central unit, the incumbent will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage the field task and activities of the unit under the coordination and supervision of the Head of Unit, and maintain day-to-day relations with the team leaders in the field
- Develop the workplan with the technical unit staff, monitor the field activities and outputs, record and report the consolidated list of challenges from the different fields and unexpected changes. Propose solutions and revisions in the work plan, if necessary
- Provide technical supervision, quality control and support to the field team leaders.
- Monitor the allocated budget for the field activities in a responsible and accountable manner and consolidate the expenditures from the different fields and communicate with the unit centrally.
- Plan and coordinate organization of meetings and events including training programs with project partners regarding project activities in the field.
- Monitor project activities and prepare timely field progress reports.
- Keep accurate recording and archiving of all activities, including data, pictures, attendance sheets, activity reports, correspondence, etc
- Establish and maintain positive working relations with partners and relevant stakeholders in the community to ensure cooperation and success of the project implementation
- Participate in activities as requested by the Head of Unit.
- Contribute to the development of community communication products, such as posters, guidelines, etc., as targeted by the unit and requested by the manager.
- Document the activities and progress in the field as a monthly report and provide information and inputs for the project progress/final reports.
- Participate in identification and selection of the Community health volunteers
- Assist in mapping of the target areas and following the day to day operational and programmatic activities.
- Regularly conducts filed visits to provide technical guidance and monitor implementation.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

• Ability to work harmoniously with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.
