HOU2024 61 ERR field coordinators (2 positions - Bekaa or North & Akkar Lebanon)

    1. Assist in the identification and assessment of populations in need, including through field visits, surveys, and community consultations.
    2. Support the delivery and distribution of emergency core relief items.
    3. Ensure that distributions and other relief efforts are carried out in a transparent, efficient, and accountable manner. This includes setting up safe distribution sites, managing crowd control, and ensuring that beneficiaries are informed of distribution schedules.
    4. Engage with community and sites focal points and liaise with local authorities and actors on the ground.
    5. Provide support for logistical arrangements, such as the transportation of supplies to field locations. This may involve coordinating with drivers, focal points at the distribution centers and ensuring proper quality control of relief items.
    6. Monitor and report on the progress of response activities, identifying any gaps or areas for improvement.
    7. Ensure that accurate records are kept for all field activities, including beneficiary lists, distribution records, and field reports.
    8. Report on challenges and opportunities in the field, and provide regular situation updates to the supervisor.
    9. Ensure that the needs of vulnerable groups, including women, children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities, are considered in all aspects of the response.
    10. Perform any other duties you may be assigned.

SKILLS
Proficient in the use of computer programs, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, Access and PowerPoint)
Capacity to work independently, efficiently with flexibility;
Good interpersonal communication skills
Previous experience on assessments/data collection activities is an advantage
