Monitoring & Evaluation Assistant - North

NorUnder the overall supervision of the Head of office and direct supervision of the Emergency Response and Stabilization Coordinator, the incumbent is to participate in the design and support effective implementation and monitoring of Emergency Response and Stabilization activities. In particular, he/she will perform the following duties: Participate in the development and implementation of methods to share project information with IOM program manager, and the field staff. Act as IOM focal point coordinating needs assessments and analysis. Propose and implement recommendations to improve the efficiency of current monitoring systems. Participate in designing, testing, and implementing the project’s survey including tools for data collection and data entry with high professional and adequate statistical standards. Implement quality control mechanisms to improve the quality of the collected information.  Assist in the analysis of project data and suggest methods to use results for services and project improvement. Track the progress of the achievement of expected outcomes, outputs and activities defined in the project documents. Support the development of evaluations in accordance with IOM Evaluation Guidelines, and the United Nations Evaluation Group Norms, including the Ethical Guidelines and Code and of Conduct. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor
