Ntp Radiology Technician

Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission in Lebanon and the Health Programme Officer at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Beirut, and the technical direction of the National Tuberculosis Programme Coordinator of MOPH Lebanon, the incumbent will be responsible and accountable for implementing activities within the framework of the project“Enhancing Tuberculosis (TB) Prevention, Diagnosis and Treatment for Syrian Refugees and Other Vulnerable Populations Affected by the Syrian Crisis in Lebanon” funded by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria’s Emergency Fund Mechanism. In particular, he/she will have the following tasks: Prepare patients for radiology testing at the NTP center. Ensure all radiology equipment are functioning properly with regular maintenance and quality checks being performed. Update physicians about radiology results for patients promptly as well as recording these results in in patient files and other designated registers. Adhere to safety measures regarding wearing protective equipment and monitoring radiation exposure as advised by the NTP. Abide by the guidelines and clinical practices of the National Tuberculosis Program (NTP). Report back to the physician at the NTP center; the staff will be evaluated by the NTP physician in charge on a regular basis to ensure proper completion of assigned tasks. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
