Operations Field Assistant - South

General: Under the overall supervision of the Operations Officer and the direct supervision of theEmergency Team Leaderand in close coordination with the Operations Field Assistantand all other relevant unitse.g Migration Health Department (MHD), Cultural Orientation (CO) and the Operations Unit in Beirut the incumbent is responsible to • Prepare all name lists (manifests) of Syrian refugees scheduled for medical screening in IOM Beirut • Contact all Syrian refugees schedule for medical screening in Beirut and organize transportation to and fro in coordination with the medical team in Beirut • Contact all Syrian refugees scheduled for cultural orientation (CO) in coordination with the CO team in Beirut • Assist in assigning operations/medical escorts for transportation to Beirut • Assist in providing meals for the refugees en route to Beirut • Assist in coordinating with the medical team in Beirut necessary information regarding refugees e.g. special needs, wheel chairs, medical escort • Assist in providing all cultural orientation (CO) needs with the CO team in Beirut • Assist in providing all meals needed for CO • Assign child care for children during CO • Reimburse transportation costs for CO attendees • Liaise with Operations Team in Beirut regarding all travel ready cases • Contact refugees and confirm charter travel dates • Organize transportation to Beirut Airport and assign operations escorts accordingly • Confirm to Beirut timely departures from the Bekaa to Beirut and final name list (departure notification) • Perform any other duties he/she may be assigned
