- Adhere to Public Health SOP’s and any other relevant laws and regulations.
- Investigate disease outbreaks among travelers and apply the required surveillance or quarantine measures in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health, WHO and other relevant partners to reduce the spread of disease.
- Collect evidence and prepare reports as necessary relevant to the required enforcement activity
- Supervise and monitor the health team deployed at the Border
- Collaborate with other agencies on matters of common interest to effect and enhance border health security.
- Ensure proper coordination with the Caza physician and MOPH at the central level.
- Regular training of health and non-health staff on emergency response and Hygiene practices
- Perform any other related duties as required by Supervisor or any other senior officer to contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of the department
