Psychosocial Program Coordinator

In the frame of the activities of the project “ Psychosocial Support to Crisis Affected, Displaced and Migrant Youth and Their Families in Syria- Lebanon Component”, under the overall supervision of the Head of the IOM Mission in Lebanon, the direct supervision of the Psychosocial Program Manager, the incumbent will:   a)      Assist the psychosocial program manager in the overall management of the project, including administrative, coordination, and project development functions.   b)      Assist the psychosocial program manager in liaising with national authorities and professionals, including Ministry of Social Affairs, Ministry of Health and Acadamic institutions.   c)      Establish strong relationship and ongoing exchange of information with national institutional, professional and academic counterparts.   d)     Provide technical oversight on the activities of the psychosocial mobile teams and local NGOs supported by the program.   e)      Assist in donor liaison and reporting.   f)       Represent IOM in MHPSS coordination meetings, Child Protection Working Group meetings and subgroups at the MoH, MoE, and others . In addition to supporting the establishement of national and international coordination mechanisms in the mental heath of Psychosocial support (MHPSS) domain and representing IOM within those mechanisms.   g)      Organize training modules and liaison with IOM international expert network, and national professionals and academics.   h)      Translate technical documents from English into Arabic and vice-versa   i)        Establish a monitoring and evaluation system, including field visits.   Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
