Senior Data Processing Assistant

As the leading international organization for migration, IOM acts with its partners in the international community to: assist in meeting the growing operational challenges of migration management; advance understanding of migration issues; encourage social and economic development through migration, and; uphold the human dignity and well-being of migrants.   Under the overall supervision of the Head of IOM Office in Lebanon and the direct supervision of the Chief Medical Officer in Lebanon, the incumbent will be responsible for:   Assist guiding, monitoring and coordinating work of junior Data Processing staff Coordinate with Chief Nurse at MHAC and PEC/PDMS Team Leader/MHP on medical appointment and scheduling of beneficiaries Daily administration of MIMOSA and eMedical systems Reception and importation of work requests; ensure importation of electronic version of approval lists (MMIF) provided by RSC into MIMOSA and circulation of the relevant information to concerned missions or partners Receive lists and medical requests forms from resettling countries embassies and create master lists with purpose of scheduling beneficiaries for medical Coordinate and assist with the data entry and Information Management protocols, in particular by explaining instructions to the data processing team, determining priorities, scheduling and overseeing the completion of work including update of medical information into medical databases. Conduct data analysis from IOM database MIMOSA, as guided by the data analysis strategy. Oversee and backstop preparation of Medical Summaries needed for pre-departure medical screening activities. . Updating the list of contacts of Service Providers (IOM Doctors and Panel Physicians), Lab physicians and radiologists for Australian, New Zealand, Canadian immigration, USRP, resettlement countries in region (MENA), European and others as required.  Liaise with PEC/PDMS Team Leader/MHP Operations Department to verify changes or updates in Refugee Travel plans and projections, circuit rides, departures, deletions, additions and preparation of future departures. Any other duties, which may be assigned by Chief Medical Officer

Education Degree Details
1. Diploma in Information Technology
2. At least 2 years of professional experience in data encoding and reporting, data capturing and data management especially in health/clinical setting.
3. Knowledge in data processing and analysis especially SPSS, SQL and Access
4. Knowledge of programming is an advantage
5. Good writing skill desirable
6. Good knowledge of IOM system (MIMOSA) and other data management systems a plus.
