DTM South Sudan — Population count - Bentiu IDP Camp (August 2025)

As of August 2025, the Bentiu IDP Sites host a documented population of 32,039 displaced individuals across 4,417 households.

To monitor these demographic shifts and displacement trends effectively, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), through its Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM), conducts periodic population counts. The data collected through these exercises is crucial for guiding resource allocation and planning interventions that address the evolving needs of the camp’s population.
