Between 19 and 20 August 2025, DTM field teams estimated that 1,000 individuals were displaced from Abu Shouk IDP camp in Al Fasher locality due to heightened insecurity. Individuals were reportedly displaced to other locations within Al Fasher locality in North Darfur. The situation remains tense and highly fluid. DTM will continue to monitor the developments closely and will provide further information on displacement and population mobility across Sudan. The latest DTM Sudan report is available here.
