DTM Sudan's Early Warning Flash Alerts provide immediate updates on incidents and sudden displacement in Sudan.
On 1 August 2025, heavy rain and floods across Ed Damazine town of Ed Damazine locality, Blue Nile reportedly displaced 25 households. The floods primarily affected Al-Karama (4) Camp. Field teams estimated that 200 tents were destroyed. Displaced households reportedly sought different types of improvised shelter within the same locality.
