From 5 to 14 December 2025, a significant influx of returnees and Sudanese nationals fleeing the escalating conflict in Greater Kordofan was observed at the Panakuach Point of Entry (PoE). During this period, the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) field teams, in collaboration with partner agencies, recorded data based on direct observations and registrations along the South Sudan-Sudan border.
