Syrian Arab Republic — Emergency Mobility Tracking: Aleppo/ North East Syria (NES) Conflict — Round 11 (11 February 2026)

As of 11 February, the ceasefire and integration agreement between the Government of Syria and the Syrian Democratic Forces (announced 30 January) continues to shape population movements in Al-Hasakeh neighbouring Ar-Raqqa. Since the peak of displacement recorded in Al-Hasakeh on 29 January (146,511 individuals), an estimated 44 per cent of displaced individuals have returned to areas where security conditions have relatively stabilised. Nevertheless, the security situation remains tense across North East Syria (NES), with sporadic security incidents contributing to uncertainty and the possibility of secondary displacements. Many IDPs in Al-Hasakeh continue to reside in collective centres (39,475). Priority needs reported across NES remain high, particularly for multi-purpose cash assistance (95% of assessed locations), non-food items such as mattresses, blankets, and cooking utensils (72%), food assistance (63%), and health services (39%).

In Aleppo Governorate, the ceasefire announced on 18 January continues to hold, enabling ongoing returns. Since the peak of displacement recorded on 9 January (138,053 individuals), an estimated 66 per cent of displaced individuals have returned to neighbourhoods where security conditions have improved, despite persistent service gaps and damaged infrastructure. Humanitarian needs remain significant among those still displaced, including access to food (80%), non-food items (52%), multi-purpose cash assistance (50%), and shelter support (25%).
