Yemen — Flow Monitoring Registry Dashboard | Incoming and Outgoing Migrants (August 2025)

IOM’s Flow Monitoring Registry (FMR) tracks migrant arrivals to Yemen and migrant departure from Yemen through preidentified and accessible flow monitoring points located in various governorates in Yemen including Ta’iz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa and Al Mahara. In addition, FMR also provide indicative estimates of irregular flows, their origin and intended destination as well as their migration drivers.

Among the total migrants recorded, eight per cent women, 72 per cent men and 20 per cent children. During the same period, The DTM team also recorded 831 migrants (all Ethiopian) who left Yemen, 84 per cent left from Lahj governorate toward Djibouti and 16 per cent left from Al Maharah governorate toward Oman.
