Yemen — Rapid Displacement Tracking Update (24 - 30 August 2025)

IOM Yemen DTM’s Rapid Displacement Tracking (RDT) tool collects data on estimated numbers of households forced to ee on a daily basis from their locations of habitual residence or displacement, allowing for regular reporting of new displacements2 in terms of estimated numbers, causes of displacement, geography and needs. It also tracks IDP returnees who returned to their location of habitual residence.

Between 24 and 30 August 2025, IOM Yemen DTM tracked 64 households (HHs) (384 individuals)3 who experienced displacement at least once.

Natural disaster were the main reason for displacement accounting for 56 per cent (36 HH) of the total followed by economic reasons related to con ict, accounting for 25 per cent (16 HHs) and safety and security concerns, accounting for 19 per cent (12 HHs).

From 1 January to 30 August 2025, IOM Yemen DTM tracked 2,006 households (12,036 Individuals) who experienced displacement at least once.
