IOM Yemen DTM’s Rapid Displacement Tracking (RDT) tool collects data on estimated numbers of households forced to flee on a daily basis from their locations of origin or displacement, allowing for regular reporting of new displacements in terms of estimated numbers, geography, and needs. It also tracks returnees who returned to their location of origin.
From 1 January to 15 November 2025, IOM Yemen DTM tracked 3,006 households (HH) (18,036 Individuals) who experienced displacement at least once.
Between 9 and 15 November 2025, IOM Yemen DTM tracked 55 households (330 individuals) displaced at least once. The majority of people moved into/within the following governorates and districts:
- Ma’rib (28 HHs) – Ma’rib City (12 HHs), Ma’rib (9 HHs), Harib (6 HHs) districts. Most displacements in the governorate originated from Ta’iz and Ibb.
- Ta’iz (16 HHs) – Al Qahirah (11 HH), Al Maafer (3 HHs), Al Mudhaffar (1 HH) districts. Most displacements in the governorate originated from Ibb and Abyan.
- Al Hodeidah (5 HHs) – Al Khukhah (4 HHs), Hays (1 HH) districts. Most displacements in the governorate originated from Ta’iz.
The majority of people moved from the following governorates and districts:
- Ibb (16 HHs) – Ibb (9 HHs), An Nadirah (2 HHs), Adh Dhihar (1 HH) districts.
- Ta’iz (13 HHs) – Sharab As Salam (4 HHs), Salah (3 HHs), Jabal Habashi (2 HHs) districts.
- Al Hodeidah (7 HHs) – Al Jarrahi (2 HHs), Bayt Al Faqih (2 HHs), Ad Durayhimi (1 HH) districts.
IOM identified 33 additional households displaced in the previous reporting period, which covered 02 - 08 November 2025, in the governorates of Ta’iz (16 HHs), Al Hodeidah (10 HHs), Ma’rib (4 HHs), Ad Dali (2 HHs), and Hadramawt (1 HH). These figures have been added to the cumulative displacement total recorded since the beginning of the year.
