Education / psychosocial Program Coordinator
International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC), headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland is the official humanitarian relief agency of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America. Since its inception in 1992, IOCC has delivered more than $488 million in relief and development programs to families and communities in more than 50 countries.
IOCC seeks a full-time motivated Education / psychosocial Program Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of IOCC project on “Health and Psychosocial support for Displaced Assyrian Minorities in Lebanon”.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensure activities are implemented in conformity with the approved project proposal.
Coordinate and follow up on the implementation of psychosocial and educational activities in the relevant PHC and school.
Develop a strategy and work plan for after-school educational and psychosocial activities.
Plan and design after-school educational and psychosocial activities.
Develop relevant training materials.
Provide support to specialist running psychosocial support sessions and provide guidance and assistance to traumatized people and those with special needs.
Ensure that target categories have access to educational and psychosocial support services.
Implement activities addressing the individual and group psychosocial needs.
Identify vulnerable people and provide focused services to address their specific issues.
Submit regular reports on challenges, cases and achievements as agreed with supervisor, with respecting quality and deadlines.
Attend and participate in IOCC meetings.
Liaise with the finance team on all required financial documents.
Coordinate with the logistics and equipment officer to ensure all required materials are provided on time.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Good organizational and time management skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to achieve results and meet deadlines in a demanding, pressured and fast-paced environment.
Advanced knowledge in psychosocial / psychological interventions (Child protection, Sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), art therapy etc...)
Dynamic personality.
Capacity and willingness to travel to the field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English; French is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and initiative taker.
Good report writing skills.
Ability to communicate with vulnerable populations.
Education:
B.Sc. in psychology, social sciences, Education or a related field; M.Sc is an advantage.
Experience:
3 to 4 years work experience.
Previous experience in NGO and humanitarian field is an advantage.
Previous experience in working with children and vulnerable populations is an advantage.
