About IOCC:
IOCC is a US-based international relief and development agency established in 1992. It offers emergency relief and development programs to those in need worldwide, without discrimination. IOCC has been working in Lebanon since 2001. IOCC has a decade of experience working in Lebanon implementing community-driven programs that address a broad range of social issues, from relief to community development and education.
IOCC seeks a full-time motivated HR Manager to be responsible for defining and managing HR strategy in line with IOCC strategy; providing practical support, direction and advice on HR procedures, policies, best practices, employment rewards, benefits and legislation related to HR; performing works relating to hiring, recruitment, training, compensation, promotion, termination, career development and retirement; and developing, updating and maintaining personnel policies and employee handbook as required.
Primary responsibilities include without limitation:
Day to day HR Staff care including: Employees’ contracts follow up, management of employees’ files, leave requests, NSSF, insurance in coordination with Finance team. Also, review and revise HR policies in compliance with changing legislation and receive employees’ complaints and act accordingly to resolve them.
Recruitment process including: setting up the recruitment process, CV Screening and interviews with selection of candidates, organizing and conducting employee testing, hiring, contract writing, integration plan and opening employee files, and conducting new employee orientation program in coordination with Office Manager and Programs Managers.
Compensation and benefits management including: Proposing and updating salary scale, proposing career paths and keeping benefits and compensation packages up-to-date.
Support management including: providing guidance and advice on grievance, attendance, disciplinary, and performance matters, coaching and identifying practical solutions to complex and diverse HR issues, and recommending appropriate action plans.
Employee annual appraisal including: ensuring employee appraisal is conducted in alliance with IOCC’s appraisal process, defining KPIs for each position, providing training and information to employees on the APA process, and collecting information regarding satisfaction of employees on salary packages and wage, working conditions, etc.
Employee training and capacity building including: following up on employee training ladder, facilitating training opportunities for employee capacity building.
Job descriptions including: Developing new Job descriptions and maintaining Job descriptions updated.
Perform other duties as required
Qualified applicants will possess:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and tools of presentation
Dynamic individual with a demonstrated ability to understand and analyze environment and be problem solving in a demanding and fast paced environment.
High standard of attention to detail.
Ability to convey difficult and challenging information to managers.
Ability to manage time and prioritize work.
Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 3 years experience in HR.
