As part of a UNICEF fund to engage community and raise awareness on Children rights within El-Mina City, IOCC is intending to contract a “Interactive theater Trainer” to deliver the below:
Main Task and Duties:
- Provide a detailed curricula and methodology on the sessions delivery, used tools and scripting
- Conduct up to 10 interactive theater sessions targeting children and youth with focus on child protection and rights topics (Early marriage, child labor, right to learn, right to play etc..)
- Work with the children/youth group on a script/play representing the final outcome of the trainings and rehearse for public screening
- Deliver regular evaluation reports on each of the conducted sessions to the Field officer and Program manager
- Maintain an archive system for the sessions (description of the session, attendance sheet);
- Participate in coordination and follow-up meetings with the team.
Qualifications
- Ability to create scenes related to child protection topics
- Openness to working with Lebanese and Syrian communities
- Knowledge of GBV concepts
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience in providing interactive theatre sessions to groups of youth
- Ability to improvise under pressure.
