The IYCF trainer will be responsible for conducting IYCF trainings to healthcare providers working at Primary Health Care Centers (PHCCs). The ideal candidate will be a confident public speaker who is up-to-date on the latest tools, guidelines and resources.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Liaise with IOCC team to determine training needs and schedule training sessions
- Update the available training material as per the latest guidelines
- Conduct training sessions on IYCF to healthcare providers working at primary healthcare centers (PHCs)
- Keep attendance and other records of the training
- Identify skills gaps and discuss challenges related to IYCF with the participants
- Perform other duties as necessary.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Native Arabic speaker is necessary
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to identify gaps in skills.
- Knowledge of various training methods and approaches.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Computer literacy: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
Experience:
- Prior experience as an IYCF trainer
- Trainer/Member of the IYCF national committee
Working Conditions
- Willingness to use personal car
- Trainings to be conducted in all governorates: BML, South, Nabatieh, Bekaa, Baalbeck-Hermel, T5 and Akkar
- Flexibility to give online training if necessary and asked by the organization
