Nurse (Chouf, Metn, Jbeil)

Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Vaccinate children.
  • Enter data into respective logbooks on a daily basis and submit them to Data Entry Officers.
  • Cooperate with Data Entry Officers in case data was required to be verified and corrected.
  • Prevent and combat the spread of infection in the health Center or field by applying all measures for disinfection and sterilization
  • Screen for acute malnutrition by measuring mid upper arm circumference (MUAC) of children 6-59 months of age at the community level
  • Provide key messages on health and nutrition topics to caregivers
  • Attend IOCC-related staff meeting when required
  • Perform any additional tasks as requested by the supervisor

 

Qualifications

  • Fluency in reading/writing/speaking Arabic is necessary
  • Good public speaking and communication skills
  • Strong social, interpersonal and intercultural skills
  • Team spirit
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Computer literacy: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Experience required: 1 to 2 years
