Under a project conducted by IOCC in Mina city and funded by UNICEF, a videographer is needed to work on a series of short video messages to promote healthy behavior among communities in response to Covid-19. The videographer will also deliver a short documentary video in the end of program covering different conducted activities with children.

The Videographer will be responsible for shooting and editing all filmed materials and will work closely with the Project Manager and Project officer to ensure that the materials are on-time, within budget, and deliver high-quality results. This includes planning, meetings, field visits to Mina city and sharing the raw footage.

The selected candidate shall be able to work between December and March.

 Responsibilities and Essential Functions

Under the coordination of the Project Manager, he/she will be responsible to:

  1. Work with the Project Manager to plan the shooting of the activities including awareness videos and final short activities’ documentary
  2. Capture the activities and participants’ stories using the best equipment possible;
  3. Capture the change that impacted the participants and community through their engagement in the project;
  4. Edit the Documentary, highlighting the stories of the participants as a way to highlight project’s impact and relevance;
  5. Ensure timely shooting, editing, and delivery of the Documentary by coordinating with the project Manager;
  6. Provide insights on the best practices in videography;
  7. Use an ethical, context and conflict sensitive approach when dealing with the participants and their communities

Qualifications:

3 to 5 years experience in video production

 

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  1. Excellent proven shooting and editing skills;
  2. Experience in shooting with various camera and sound equipment;
  3. Experience in working with local and international organizations in various environments;

   4. Experience in developing and realizing video content about social change.
