National Health Accounts Officer- Mph018

The incumbent is to serve as a  FULL time officer to the Ministry of Health of Lebanon. the Incumbent will report to the Head of Statistics Department and will perform the following functions: TERMS OF REFERENCE         -   To follow up on the reporting of public funds on health spending by health function -             To liaise with the focal points assigned in each public fund, and private insurance companies for the proper collection of information based on a standard template. -           Support the Head of Statistics Department in finalizing the National Health Accounts matrices and extracting the health spending by source of fund, and preparation of annual health accounts statistics. -           Assist in needs assessment  activities to institutionalize NHA at the MOPH, including focal points training. -             Submit progress reports compiling the process, outcome and results analysis Qualifications requirements: -Knowledge and skills: University education in public health, health management. -Experience: at least 2 years experience in the field of public health. -Competencies: Excellent coordination and analytical skills. -Computer proficiency: Excellent computer skills and ability to manage large database. -Languages: Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic. French Language is an asset - Holder of Lebanese nationality
