Phc Support Officer (Moph And The Field) - Mph013

The incumbent is to serve as a FULL time PROJECT officer to second a Government body. The incumbent shall be recruited by IRD, work at the MoPH, and report to the Government line and will perform the following functions: Terms of Reference To follow-up on healthcare services provided to Lebanese and Syrians at Primary Health Care (PHC) settings To make periodic utilization review of PHC services for the Lebanese and Syrian beneficiaries at PHC settings To help assess the morbidity rates (communicable diseases, malnutrition, etc.) among the Lebanese and the Syrians beneficiaries in the PHC centers, and to help generate pertinent statistics and research papers To help identify health indicators related to main healthcare services at PHC settings  To ensure proper health data collection of indicators for PHC activities To assist in drafting/implementing data collection tools To assist in analyzing the monthly reports generated from PHC and assist in suggesting necessary actions To perform other duties as required Qualifications requirements: -Knowledge and skills:   university education in public health or health management, preferably with medical background. Nurses are encouraged to apply -Experience:                    at least 2 years of experience in the field of public health -Competencies:              excellent coordination and analytical skills, excellent communication skills, good team player, and ability to work independently -Computer proficiency: excellent computer skills and ability to manage large databases. -Languages:                    excellent knowledge of English and Arabic. French is an asset - Nationality:                   holder of a Lebanese nationality is a must
