1. Receive and assist all refugees coming into IRD offices. 2. Undertaking and writing up assessments, which meet specified standards and timescales; 3. conducting interviews with service users and their families to assess and review their situation; 4. Offering information and counselling support to service users and their families; 5. Organizing and managing packages of support to enable service users to lead the fullest lives possible; 6. Recommending and sometimes making decisions about the best course of action for a particular service user; 7. Liaising with, and making referrals to, other agencies; 8. Participating in multidisciplinary teams and meetings regarding, for example, child protection or mental health; 9. Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports for legal action; 10. Participating in training, supervision and team meetings. 11. Provide regular reporting to the senior management team on all aspects of the services implemented. 12. Monitor the political and security developments throughout the areas of active and potential implementation; provide regular analysis and discussion with the senior management team of the same. 13. Perform other related duties.
